Frank Kazuo Oshita March 6, 1920 - November 19, 2012

The Buddhist Temple of Salinas lost long time temple member, Frank Kazuo Oshita today. He served on the temple board for decades, and served as temple president in 1964, 1965, 1975, & 1976. He also served on the building committee that led to the building of the current hondo/classroom complex that was completed in 1975, and was chairman of the building committee that worked on the multipurpose building that was completed in the 1990s. 

In more recent years, he continued to make the effort to come to temple events and services with Mrs. Miya Oshita, often holding her hand, always walking together. He gave the words of appreciation at the temple Keirokai celebration on October 21, 2012.

We are all going to miss his presence and his guidance. We send our deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

The funeral memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 12 PM. Obituary

Line Dance classes

There is a beginner’s line dance class every Tuesday 7:00PM at BTS Gym.  Everybody is welcome to join.
